Why hate apostasy so much?
Apostasy leads to disfelloshipping and shunning of the indivdual. A reccomendation to hate the individual and proclame him/her as dead is the only just approach to these people, according to the Organisation of JW.
Fun part is that the founder of the JW Charles Taze Russel was himself an apostate. His parents was a part of the "presbyterianska kyrkan" and at the age of 13 charles turned to the "Kongregationalistkyrkan" He also did a whole lot of "soulsearching" during his younger years before deciding to create his own religion. So, according to the rulings of apostasty, he himself should have been hated and shunned?
So apostasy must only be true in the eye of the beholder. If you think you have the truth, all who opposes you are apostates? Then all that don´t belive what the witnesses teach, has to be regarded as apostates and therefore shunned.
